# Staking Thesis

## What is Scientist Staking?

SecretLabz will launch <mark style="color:green;">Rarity Based Staking</mark> during phase 2 of our roadmap. You will be able to stake directly from our <mark style="color:green;">website</mark> where you'll be able to deposit your Scientist into the staking contract to begin earning passive <mark style="color:green;">$ACID</mark> tokens daily. The rarity tier of your Scientist will determine your daily $ACID income. \

SecretLabz staking interface will be available prior to staking launch where you can view your Scientist research team and the total amount of $ACID you'll be earning daily once staking launches. It will look something like this:
